The Italian Portal of Classifications is the tool that the Italian Collaborating Centre of the World Health Organization for the Family of International Classifications puts at the disposal of experts, users and coders, in agreement with the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Policies.
The portal intends to be a tool of information, of work organization, and of revision and development of international classifications (first of all ICD and ICF), terminologies, and other nomenclature and classification systems of national interest.
The portal is a tool of cooperative work and is open to the contribution of all the scientific and technical components that are interested in the use of classifications and terminologies.
The portal is developed in collaboration with the World Health Organization and it represents an opportunity for cooperation between national and international working groups.
